The Finger Lakes IMPACT will be hosting a chicken bbq Saturday, July 10 from 12-2 pm in the Save-A-Lot parking lot 22 Locust Street in Waterloo NY.
Meals are $7.50 and you get half chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, roll and choice of soda!
IMPACT players and cheerleaders will be on hand to talk with fans and sign autographs.

We are pleased to announce that the Finger Lakes Times will be running a story on the IMPACT in the paper Thursdays, July 8. The story will include head shots of all the players, cheerleaders and coaches. There will also be quotes from players and coaches.

There has been a schedule change for the Finger Lakes IMPACT. Originally, the IMPACT were to open up the 2010 season on the road against the Southern Tier Warriors from Watkins Glen. Instead, the IMPACT open up at home against the Warriors on July 17, 2010. Kickoff will be at 7pm

The Finger Lakes IMPACT Semi Pro Football Team is pleased to announce that 2 players, Alton Jones and Chris Kitchens, have been chosen to receive a Certificate of Achievement from All Pro Dad.
Chris Kitchens, who resides in Clyde with his wife, Kimberlynn and their 3 sons, is a Running Back for the Finger Lakes IMPACT. When he’s not playing football, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and playing football with his sons Nick, Nate and Timmy.
Alton ‘Newt’ Jones, who resides in Rochester with his 4 children, is a Wide Receiver and a Quarterback for the Finger Lakes IMPACT. When not playing football, Alton loves spending time with his 10 year old son Alton Jr, 6 year old twins Mekayla and Mekhi and 7 month old Noah and playing basketball and football.
“It’s an honor to be working alongside with these fine young men. They exemplify what it is to be a good role model for not only their children, but all kids” said John Evans, Founder of the Finger Lakes Chapter of All Pro Dad.

In their preseason home opener on June 5, 2010, the Finger Lakes IMPACT lost a tough to the Southern Tier Warriors 20-7. The Warriors played a great game and definitely were ready for the IMPACT.
This game was a Military Appreciation Game that raised money for the Canandaigua VA Recreation Department and the Golden Age Games.
The IMPACT finished the preseason 2-1 and are now getting ready for their season opener on July 10, 2010

Dan Legge, Special Teams Coach for the Finger Lakes IMPACT, entered and won the 2010 Patriot Pizza Eating Contest in Waterloo on Saturday, May 29
Dan took 16 minutes to eat a Large Cheese Pizza with Mike Bell, a Defensive Lineman for the IMPACT, coming in 2nd place!
The IMPACT Family is proud of Dan and Mike for their great showing ang how they represented the IMPACT. Well done guys!

On May 22, the IMPACT N8TION traveled to Norwich NY to face the Watertown Revolution in their Robert D. Peraza Scholarship Memorial Game. This game was a charity game to raise money to help send a high school student to a SUNY School
The IMPACT Defense started the game with a quick 4 and out setting the tone early for the game. The offense took over and never looked back. The IMPACT racked up 266 yards rushing and 408 yards total offense on their way to a 32-6 win!
